Children Attendance at Mainstage Shows
At the Playhouse we follow the school-age and up rule. In general we do not permit those under 5 at our performances. Babes in arms are not permitted in the theater. Children under 14 must have a parent/guardian with them during performances. Due to local fire codes every person needs a ticket. Some plays in our mainstage series may contain strong language and/or mature themes.
Theater for Children
The Playhouse encourages the introduction of young audiences to the theater. Our children’s theater program Playhouse Junior offers age appropriate productions for children from 4 to 9 years of age. However, children of all ages are welcome at all Playhouse Junior productions.
Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the management, in the most easily accessible seats, in order to minimize distractions to audience and performers.
Saint Michael’s Playhouse has six wheelchair accessible seats and three handicapped accessible seats. Please contact the box office to purchase accessible seating.
Assisted Listening System
The theater is equipped with a new Assisted Listening System. Devices are available from the box office on a first come first served basis before performances. Please ask a box office staff member for a receiver.
Photography, videography, and audio recordings are strictly prohibited inside the theater.
